Field Trips

Building upon each year's theme we organize field trips to further enhance lecture concepts. Past trips have crossed the mainland and hit many of the islands of the Georgia coast. We explore our diverse habitats and have had opportunities to look for rare and unique plants, birds, butterflies, reptiles, & amphibians. We have gained knowledge of the natural processes that have shaped our coastline and helped maintain its biodiversity.
